And sadly tea bags are almost all using plastic or plastic fabric now. More microplastics ? No thanks

Everything you mentioned is important. I quit tea bags years ago, because 1) I’m not in a rush to brew tea and 2) I heard some of the teabags contained plastics.

Now I buy only quality loose tea, mostly oolongs from Taiwan, and every sip reminds me how glad I am that I discovered loose tea. 😁❤️

That’s awesome @Jackieone! I love Oolong tea as well! I should look further into tea bags…. thanks for the idea.

I bought a pot that warms up the water and has a tea filter in it. I bought some jasmine loose leaf tea which is fine but sometimes I think it smells like urine lol. I need to find a better tea but I bought a huge bag. I ended up back on coffee. lol

Well you’ve just taken the shine off of a couple of herbal teas I like. They have too much scent to be natural and I already knew that.

My favorite is rooibos tea and it’s super hard to find in my part of Canada. Only a couple of specialty shops that I’ve found carry it loose.

I found a really great all-natural South African Rooibos that we LOVE! In fact, we made it just this morning (our favorite home-blend) mixed with Assam Banaspaty (black) and cinnamon. We call it "Red Black & Cinnamon".

Here's the link (Rooibos): https://amzn.to/43qr9Uh

And it's only < $13 per pound!

Davidsons Teas is our favorite brand, but you still have to read the labels on some of the latest trendy flavors.

oh my gosh, you're gonna LOVE it.

You'd also like the "South African Honeybush"... it's a milder cousin of Rooibos and has a mild sweet flavor. Great as a night-cap herbal by itself, or brew it and serve cold in the summer!
